The last 6 week!

Wow the last 6 weeks where do i start It can take allot of time to get thru. Right before classes started i had difficulties with a pregnancy that is now no longer, so i had to deal with that one week before classes. I tried to get beyond that get into the books and try to focus even though i seem to get behind. Working allot lately and still have my two boys at home and you moms and dads know what I am speaking about.....homework, practices, dinner, etc. The holidays came some quickly that i had no time to prepare as i would normally. Then about 2 weeks ago mt boyfriend was in a coma, you talking about its unspeakable....... but he is fine and we prayed to god and said that 2010 is our year and we are moving forward and he is getting well and resting. But on a lighter note things have been looking up and i am anticipating 2010...

One thing about my academic challenges!

My one challenge i would say is there is not enough time in the day. Time is my biggest issue, i have a full plate and lately my youngest son has not wanted to go to bed on time he use to go to bed about 8 then i can get some work done from the till midnight now he is staying up till ten i am fighting him to go to bed by then I am exhausted. Then there is the kids school work , me going to work and school. So yes my one challenge is time and finding time to get all my work done and on time.

What would you do if someone used something you created without giving you credit?

Sometime plagiarism can be an accident if you are educated enough on how to site your sources. I would be so angry if someone did not give me credit for my blood, sweat and tears. Some people invest months maybe even years on all type of research and for anybody to basically steal it is not right. It is very important for you to cite all sources and give credit were it is due.

My online college experiance so far!!!

When I first thought about becoming an online student I was excited about it, I also did not really prepare myself for the workload. I did not think that it would be easy, because of my personal life (home, work, and children) it has made it difficult for me to keep up. I do like the flexibility of being able to take seminar after my kids go to bed and I try to get my work done between work hours. Sometimes i think that I should have taken traditional style class to help me maintain my focus. At home sometimes i am distracted by the kids , phone, or television. I am still trying to find myself and my study habits and i believe it will all work out. I don't have any ideas about creating a closer community because I believe the university does a great job with that you have seminars discussion, AIM,Blogs and email.
